I’m just a necromancer who’s intentions are good.

Drink stores are back over 300 and climbing slowly but steadily. The Shrine for the Faith of Bone is slowly being improved. The only potential pall on the otherwise improving state of affairs is the arrival of Snodub.

A caravan from Olthezonul, our Dwarven neighbors to the south has arrived. We’ve been so focused on industry and safety little effort has been spared for frivolous tasks such as making figurines and toys. It took two days for the caravan to arrive, but I still want to buy their donkeys. 21 bins, a half dozen bags, musical instruments, all sorts of stuff, all being carried on the back of one donkey.

Food appears to be the only thing of worth we have to trade, and with over a thousand meals on hand, we can surely spare some of the more extravagant creations. The Unholy Disloyalty (a performance troupe) have asked to reside here. They consist of 2 elf animal caretakers, 4 goblin poets, all lead by an elf poet. After a brief consultation with amongst the triumvirate it was decided unanimously to allow their petition. During the deliberations two more petitioners had submitted requests, and in a fit of magnanimity all three were approved in a single swell foop.

Who should it be now?
Wish you could request just “leather” or “musical instruments”

We have recommended Goden Keen Eye to become the Baron. He made a variety of requests for next years caravan. Meanwhile they are willing to offer double price for goblets, and nearly double price for cheese. Maybe we’ll have to start milking though it seems an affront to nature to do it ourselves. As the fort flourishes I suppose many accommodations will have to be made to keep the gears of industry greased.

Nish Bristleshoots, Bard, Legendary Animal Dissector’s petition to join has been granted. A wave of migrants has shown up the same day, surely a coincidence. 9 new faces in total in the fort on this lovely day.

Another Temple must needs be built, this time for The Creed of Ghosts. The request has been approved, and construction will begin shortly, and probably with more alacrity than the first one since we made a few spare alters. Still the shrine to The Faith of Bone isn’t quite a temple yet either. Not to be outdone The Golden Hall is demanding we build them a guildhall. Why not, halls for everyone!

As winter looms things are looking good. Hopefully we can fill the cistern before the river freezes. However work is basically complete and we’ve even put in a pair of floodgates strategically located so we can create a relatively safe pool inside the walls. However with the floodgates linked near the hospital we can excavate that at our leisure.

Datan Komanobok, our mayor has imposed a ban on the export of crown. Goden Kelatol, our Baron has demanded we make a short sword. These should be easy enough to handle.

This again. Maybe we can catch him this time.

The militia (now nearly fully equipped with iron armor) has been ordered to the entrance in case Uzin tries to sneak out with anything.

These can be closed should the need arise.

It’s taken nearly nine months, but everything is finally in place and the floodgates have been opened. Soon we’ll have a working well, which will be useful in case of injuries, as well (haha) as meaning residents and guests can clean themselves from the safety of the fort.
